Buy 1/10 Oz Gold Eagle Coins
Gold Eagle Coins are recognized everywhere as one of the world's most popular coins - particularly in the affordable tenth-ounce size. The striking, robed, Lady Liberty on the obverse holds the torch of liberty aloft in one hand and the olive branch of victory in the other. Bald Eagles adorn the reverse - protecting their young in a nest. It is a stunning and iconic design, generally considered to be among the most beautiful of United States Mint coins.
1/10 Oz Gold Coin Value
Each coin carries a legal tender value of $5 U.S. dollars. Additionally, coins are marked with gold content - 1/10 oz fine gold. Though the coins contain a full tenth oz of gold, the purity is 22k (91.67% gold). The gross weight of each coin is slightly heavier than 1/10 oz because the gold is alloyed with a bit of copper and silver. Every coin's weight and purity are assured by the US Mint. You can purchase these American Mint gold coins from Money Metals Exchange!
The 1/10 ounce is the smallest size among the fractional Gold Eagles minted. Investors choose this dime-sized coin to diversify their gold holding. Many believe smaller coins like these will command a significant premium should gold prices move much higher. The day may come when larger 1 oz gold bullion coins are simply unaffordable for many people, raising demand for fractional sizes.
The size is also popular among preparedness-minded stackers who want coins suitable for barter, if needed. One ounce coins for sale may be impractical for use in smaller transactions where they would require the counter-party to make lots of change.
Buyers can be confident that any 1/10th oz Gold Eagles purchased today will be in high demand whenever the time comes to sell. Dealer bid prices for these coins are generally the highest among all fractional sovereign coins because they always sell quickly.
These coins make a fine and memorable gift. Ask about our options for encapsulating them in an Air-Tite capsule - a clear, hard plastic case which is round in shape.
1/10 Oz Gold Coin Design
Lady Liberty (obverse) - The Striding Liberty artwork was first created by Augustus Saint Gaudens for the 1907-1933 double eagle gold bullion coin that can be purchased on Money Metals. It features the image of Lady Liberty walking forward with the sun's rays behind her as she carries a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her right.
Bald Eagle (reverse) - The reverse side of these 1/10 oz US gold coins feature a male bald eagle returning to his nest with an olive branch while his family awaits his arrival below. The image of the Golden Eagles signifying the strength and security of American families. It's a great choice for investors looking to buy gold bullion due to its small size and weight.

Steven M.March 28th, 2021First Gold CoinUntil purchasing this 1/10 oz Gold Eagle, I only purchased gold gram bars. I have been stacking them for a couple of years. I felt like I needed an actual coin other than my silver coins. I am very happy with the purchase. It is amazing that this dime sized coin is worth around $250. Looking forward to it gaining in price thanks to Federal Reserve printing scam.

Joseph S.October 13th, 2020Joseph W.Reading some other customer reviews that this coin is the first time buyers choice for beginning a gold portfolio. For me, it wasn't that I was trying to start a gold portfolio so much as I'm a firm believer of the beauty and quality of Morgan Silver dollar and all the silver dollars before it and after it. Except for the 1 dollar gold coin, not that I think its ugly, it's just to me it doesn't hold up the dignity of any American silver dollar. To be clear I'm not referring to the Eagle or Double Eagle. Wow, the eagle is a beautiful coin. What I can't get over is the ease and quality and fast shipping Money Metals deals out to its customers, Thanks Money Metals.
