Money Metals Exchange is pleased to offer the new 1-oz Buffalo Warrior .999 pure silver round, minted by Bullion Works, right here in the USA. These are a premium round with a stunning design.
Lakota Warrior -- Obverse
Sculpted by famed artist Luigi Badia, this beautiful round offers modernized interpretation of the classic "buffalo" nickel. The obverse depicts a proud and angry Lakota warrior adorned by his feather headdress. To the Lakota, only the fiercest warriors earned the right to wear full-feather headdress. It was an honor bestowed on a select few for extraordinarily brave deeds in battle.
Buffalo -- Reverse
The image on the reverse is of a wandering American Buffalo or, “Tatonka”, in the language of the Lakota. The Buffalo was extremely important to the Lakota culture, as the Lakota were traditionally nomadic and tribespeople spent most of their lives following the bison.
The 1oz Buffalo Warriors obverse and reverse border ties in the Lakota symbol of the sun and earth. This symbol represents the relationship of the Lakota with the universe. The lower triangle pointing up symbolizes the earth while the top triangle pointing down symbolizes the stars and sun.
The reverse also carries the "BW" privy mark located to the right of the bison’s hoof. They letters are an abbreviation of Buffalo Warrior as a series and Bullion Works Inc, the round's producer.
Buffalo Warrior rounds are a great addition any investor's portfolio. They are stylish and carry a meaningful design.
Silver rounds also provide a true hedge against inflation. In today’s uncertain economy, the strength of the dollar cannot be easily identified, nor can its future. As such, many investors look to alternative sources of wealth, and silver is an ideal form due to its worth and value as a precious metal. With a purity of .999, the coin’s re-sale value will remain as there is likely to be a constant demand for silver. Silver’s use in jewelry and, as has been reported, medicine, makes it a metal which will always be in high demand.
Rounds make a good alternative to both gold and silver bars and coins, as they are unique in size and design, attractively rounding off a collection. Although they cannot be used as legal tender, their value remains and is dictated by the spot price of silver. Just look at a what a bar of silver is worth, or how much you will get when you sell silver coins back to the dealer and then you will understand the value of silver rounds.
Money Metals Exchange offers great pricing on these pure silver rounds, and our guarantee a high-quality service.
