Money Metals Exchange is proud to offer pieces of history at bargain prices. The silver Peace Dollar spent decades circulating at a time before the US abandoned silver and gold coinage for a pure fiat (paper) money system. The condition of the Peace Dollar is a bit rough, but they are certainly in far better shape than the paper dollar which has been mauled by decades of inflation.

The design for the Peace Dollar, were minted from 1921 to 1928, and again in 1934 and 1935. The coins' artwork is intended to commemorate the peace that followed World War I. The obverse features Lady Liberty and the reverse displays a perched eagle with an olive branch and the word "Peace".

Perhaps the best thing about these coins is their price. They are a great way to buy official US silver dollar at the lowest possible premiums like their equal Pre 1965 Silver coins the Silver Half Dollars.

All 60 Better than Expected

By Gary C. on January 11th, 2018

A few with considerable wear (as expected), but only 1 that I'd consider slick, yet could still read date even on that one. Quite a few clean, brilliant, with little wear---could read the word "Peace" on most of them. I recently ordered "worse than Cull" from another vendor and none of the MMX 60 I received would be called "worse than Cull"---all at least "Cull", maybe some even better. Only downside was not much of a date variety, but that makes little difference with Culls and I expected much worse condition. Read comment from another vendor's site listing Peace & Morgan Culls for one price (higher than MMX Peace coins), but comments on that major vendor's site had multiple buyers saying they received all Peace...No Morgans. At least with MMX you order Peace and get Peace; or you can order Morgans and get Morgans. Was pleased enough to place another order.

Good stuff.

Quality product and quality service, thank you.

Great value

By Patrick C. on December 30th, 2017

Fast shipping and I am always pleasantly surprised at the condition of the "junk" coins I get from MMX. Only one had some tarnish on it, and all were in pretty good condition with not a whole lot of wear. Excellent value!

Most were in good condition, better than I thought they would be.
