Money Metals Exchange is delighted to offer the silver Valiant (10 oz silver valiant coin), a stunning 10-ounce sovereign coin minted by the Royal Mint in London. This bullion coin will be a fine, and interesting, addition to any investor's stack. It is both attractive and affordable - priced less per ounce than the silver American Eagle.
The Valiant is striking with its portrait of St. George, England's patron saint, defeating a dragon in battle. In Middle Ages England artists often used the image of the dragon to represent the Devil. The design signifies victory over evil.
King Edward III named St. George as the patron saint of England in 1350. He created the Order of the Garter in St. Georges name. St. George was a Roman warrior who served bravely under Emperor Diocletian in the second century AD. He refused to recant his Christian faith, even in the face of torture and eventual beheading.
Coin Highlights:
The obverse side of the silver Valiant Coin carries the latest portrait of Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clark. It is the fifth-generation portrait of Her Majesty, capturing the Queen at 89 years old. The Queen has aged in successive generations of the portrait used on British coins.
These silver mint coins are ten times the size of other popular bullion coins such as the silver American Eagle coin or Canadian Maple coin. If that isn't enough to make them stand out, the artwork and craftsmanship certainly will.
The weight and purity of this sovereign coin is backed by the British government (British silver coins).
Britain's Royal Mint has been minting the coins of the realm for more than a thousand years. Sir Isaac Newton served as Warden of the Mint in 1696. Among other duties, he was responsible for investigating counterfeit coins. After 3 years in that role, he was appointed Master of the Mint, a title he retained until his death in 1727. As a new collector of precious metals i don't have a whole lot just yet, but this is by far the most beautiful piece I own. Extremely satisfied with this and every other purchase I have made from MMX thus far.

This coin is a great addition to my growing collection. I have other 10 Oz. coins ,but this one is the best so far. Thanks MMX you always come through with great metals and service.

Although at this point I'm a small-time accumulator, I have to say that this piece is the most impressive I currently have. The precision and varieties of textures is impressive, not to mention the sheet size. Comes in a capsule that I found tricky to open. I recommend this product!

The coin came with a slightly scratched capsule and Matt was quick to send me another one which is in shipping. They always have time to talk to you at MMX not like some other very large dealers..highly recommended
