Featured on the reverse of these coins is an iconic design of a bull rider holding fast to a bull mid-leap, along with the words "Calgary Stampede" in cursive script. The obverse of each coin bears the bust of Queen Elizabeth II. Commemorate a piece of history with one of these coins: the Calgary Stampede's roots trace back to exhibitions in 1886, and was made official under its current name in 1912 by the American cowboy and promoter Guy Weadick.

Vincent F.January 29th, 2024A bit shocked about the burrs!These are nice-looking coins. I've been trying to get my hands on a few of them with the Silver Half-Ounce Random Design pick but I kept getting the 2018 1/2 oz. Canadian Polar Bear Design. However, I'm really surprised that I received coins with burrs on the edges and a scratch on one of them on the obverse. The edges are reeded and this is the first time I have ever seen this on any coin. My gloves kept snagging on the burrs. Just a minor detail honesty. They are going in capsules anyway. What's a couple of coins out of the many I've purchased here at MMX. It's a great design and I like them.
