Money Metals is proud to offer the fourth coin in the popular Queen's Beast coin series from the Britain's Royal Mint -- the Unicorn. When Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the throne of England in 1953 in Westminister Abbey, at the entrance stood 10 statues of the various Queen's Beasts standing guard. The Royal Mint is commemorating these 10 heraldic beasts in stunning mint silver coins. The Unicorn of Scotland is the fourth issue. The Silver Queens Beast Unicorn coin comes in the standard 2 ounce size, like the rest of the series, but if you're looking for larger option, a 10 ounce size is also available.
The Unicorn symbolizes power and identity. It first appeared in Scottish lore during the 12th century.
These silver mint coins are double the size of other popular bullion US mint coins for sale, such as the silver American Eagle coin. If that isn't enough to make them stand out, the beautiful image of the Unicorn along with a shield emblazoned with lion crest of Scotland on the coin's reverse certainly will. Each is minted with .9999 fine silver, and denominated with £5 (British pounds). The coins ship from the mint in boxes of 200 coins -- 20 tubes filled with 10 coins each.
The Silver Unicorn coins obverse carries the iconic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The weight and purity of this sovereign coin is backed by the British government.
Silver buyers are welcome to purchase in any quantity, but should not delay. This particular design promises to be among the most popular in the series and will go quickly.
Britain's Royal Mint has been minting the Queens Beast silver bullion coin of the realm for more than a thousand years. Sir Isaac Newton served as Warden of the Mint in 1696. Among other duties, he was responsible for investigating counterfeit coins. After 3 years in that role, he was appointed Master of the Mint, a title he retained until his death in 1727.

I've been trying to collect the Queens beast coins as they become available because they are beautiful, and these fit that description too! Highly polished, thry look like they are chrome plated and the detail on them is amazing. I hope I have the chance to complete my collection.

My favorite of most of the beast series. Quality proof uncirculated. STUNNING in design and quality speaks for itself in elegance of the unicorn. A must have of the series. I have all 7 so far looking, forward to the others too.

These 2 oz coins are pure eye candy. Beautifully minted proof quality and just plain GORGEOUS. The Mint tubes will throw you off if you're used to getting full tubes when you buy your bullion. But rest assured there's 10 Coins per tube. I buy this series in 11 coins per order, the tubes themselves can actually hold 13. Dunno why they have the extra space but if you're going to be buying more than 10 that extra space in the tubes is nice to have. Money Metals pulls through again with another FLAWLESS Order. Buy these coins you'll never be disappointed. Proof quality all the way!!!!
